Great news! In today's tech savvy world we have choices. Those choices all happen to be integrated into the Jonas member billing systems so it takes very little effort for your club to provide these really great services to your members. No worries on having to do file export of member charges or billing information. Another bonus is that there is not a interface to either that can stop working at any time.
Which one is right? Should a club do both? Why would we do either?
Emailing out statements in Jonas Software is as easy as doing a statement run. The statement is emailed as a .PDF attachment so the member can even save that file to their hard drive for future access. The benefit of emailing the statement is that it is "push" of information out to you members which also serves as a reminder to pay the bill. Additional documents (like newsletter and advertisements) can also be attached to the statement. The member receives the service of delivery right to their Inbox, your club gets faster payments (cash flow). Also, it cuts down on paper, postage, etc.
Online member statements through the Jonas clubhouse Online web service automatically pulls the charges through from the Member Billing. Simple as that. Members have 24/7 access to their bills in a secure, password protected site. While on the website they can be enticed to find out what else is going on at the club which promotes foot traffic, higher revenues, and membership satisfaction.
Comments? Questions? How has your club responded to electronic statements? Please post.
