Mobile POS... why "on-demand" is sooooo useful.

Mobility, Is it really useful and cost effective for a POS? HHHmmmm.... let's explore the benefits.

At TTA we recommend going with a light, small but not too small unit called the WebTab DT. This unit has about an 8 1/2" touchscreen which is large enough for most of us to see and use a menu.

They are portable - take them where you need to as long as you have connectivity. The pool. The beach. The first tee (great for starters and checking in on the tee sheet). The fitness class. The ball room -- think about your bartenders ringing up the checks when and where they need to, not having to wait until the end of the event.

They are somewhat durable - can sustain a drop from 4 feet. They also have these cushion grips that helps somewhat from falls.

Today's mobile units also are outdoor viewable so they are great out on a beach or in a cabana. There is one club in southwest Florida who has used them poolside for a couple of years with good results.

Process credit cards or need to print checks - these little guys can do all of that too. They also will read magnetic cards so member cards and gift cards are no problem.

So mobility. Easy to achieve, practical, and a nice way to provide member service as well as increase some efficiencies of your team.
